On April 1st, the first batch of CoronaVac vaccine produced by Chinese company Sinovac Biotech and purchased by Azerbaijan directly from China arrived in Baku. The Azerbaijani government held a solemn welcoming ceremony at the Heydar Aliyev International Airport. Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Azerbaijan Ms. Guo Min, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Mr. Ramiz Hasanov, the Deputy Minister of Health Mr. Viktor Gasimov, as well as representatives of the media attended the ceremony.
